4FRNT CRJ (2011)

Like many new skis, the CRJ combines camber underfoot with rocker at tip and tail. While it’s not as hardpack-versatile as others of its ilk, the CRJ is highly predictable and easy to handle in powder and junk. It smears turns effortlessly and responds instantly in trees and bumps. Its maneuverability in ungroomed snow is partly due to its subtle sidecut—the ski doesn’t carve away unexpectedly the way a ski with deeper sidecut might—and a relatively narrow tip, which makes it easy to steer.
