Black Diamond Zealot (2006)

Here’s a great example of a ski that was nigh impossible to ride until tip rocker was added (last season). Now it’s infinitely more maneuverable—but hasn’t lost the freight-train stability and toughness for which the aggressive heavyweights loved it before. Those attributes have simply become more accessible to a wider range of skiers. Though it’s not energetic on hard snow, it holds a solid edge and prefers long turns. Off-piste, it’s capable of quick turns in tight spots.
