This was one of few boots that testers universally loved for its fit-regardless of any individual foot weirdness. It goes everywhere and does everything with an evenly "medium" fit tension and a super stance. Its ease of fit can be traced to the shell's Contour 4 anatomical shaping that provides "pre-punched" areas at traditionally bony sites: the navicular, ankles, "6th toe" and heel. Don’t misunderstand and think the boot fits loose; it’s actually fitted like a well-tailored suit. We tested the Viper 120 with its traditional liner option but for $50 more at street price, the Intuition-partnered I.D. EVA liner provides additional shape customization. That’s an investment worth considering for skiers with wider or very bony feet. The Viper 120 has a removable/adjustable rear spoiler and single cuff adjustment. The soles are replaceable and comprised of hard plastic for a firm connection with the ski. Tester Comments: "Right on the target every turn. Never any hunting for its sweet spot." "Seemed like the boot and ski knew what the other was thinking. Tracked like a bobsled."
