Nordica Nemesis (2011)

This ski doesn’t pretend to be accessible to lower-level skiers, and that’s why our expert women loved it. Like the Enforcer, it returns revamped with mild rocker, which makes it easier to initiate and a bit more maneuverable. But it hasn’t lost its tenacious edge grip or preference for high speeds and wide-open spaces. It’s a Western ski, no doubt, but Eastern transplants accustomed to tipping skis and trusting edges will feel right at home—and it skis powder much better than the skinny boards they’re used to.
