WHISTLER, BC,(Whistler Press Release)—Whistler Blackcomb celebrates Women's Week March 4-12. Innovative clinics, special events and activities geared specifically towards women have been planned, making Whistler Blackcomb the ultimate playground for women during this time. Many events scheduled also incorporate fundraising elements for the BC Cancer Foundation and Boarding for Breast Cancer.

"Women everywhere manage hectic schedules and balance a variety of obligations so taking some time every once in a while to treat yourself is important for self fulfillment and growth, says Heather Martin, Whistler Blackcomb's Women's Week Coordinator. "Whistler Blackcomb's Women's Week is the perfect opportunity for women to learn something new, spend some time outdoors, focus on fitness, catch up with girlfriends and have some great times. It's also a great opportunity to support great causes.

Women's Week's major fundraiser is the Mission Hill Red Party where 100% of the profits from the silent auction will support Ovarian Cancer research. Red wine tasting, the silent auction and music by singer Kathleen Edwards make this an evening not to be missed. The Mission Hill Red Party takes place Saturday, March 11 at 9pm at the Garibaldi Lift Company.
